EAGE is a professional association for geoscientists and engineers. Founded in 1951, it is an organization with a worldwide membership providing a global network of commercial and academic professionals. The association is truly multi-disciplinary and international in form and pursuits.
In September 2011 students of Islamic Azad University, Omidieh Branch established the student chapter of European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers (EAGE). Under the support of EAGE, we organized first officially activity (Petro-Quiz). Our purpose is to create a place where students can organize the activity that improve their knowledge as well as participate on international EAGE programs. Students will receive the best opportunities for improving academic and industrial knowledge by participate in student chapter events such as lectures, workshops, contests, student debates, and student industrial tours.
